COO Doug Ramsey of California-based Beyond Meat has been suspended following an arrest on suspicion of biting a man’s nose during a fight that took place at an Arkansas football game over the weekend. The police charged the former COO on counts of terroristic threatening and third-degree battery and later released him on bond for USD 11,000.
According to a statement issued by the company, the operations activities overseen by Doug Ramsey previously have been taken on by Jonathan Nelson, Senior Vice President of Manufacturing Operations, in the interim.
