Serve Robotics and Pizza Hut test droid-based deliveries in Vancouver

Partnerships
Geographic expansion

  • Serve Robotics, a spin-off from Uber that operates delivery droids, has partnered with Yum! Brands-owned Pizza Hut Canada to pilot droid-based pizza delivery in Vancouver, Canada—its first project in Canada.

  • Two delivery droids have been deployed for the initial pilot and they are already delivering pizzas to customers in Robson and Bidwell Streets, Vancouver.

  • Analyst QuickTake: Today’s collaboration is yet another addition to Serve Robotics' growing list of partners, which includes major companies such as Uber Eats and Brinker International. Furthermore, this marks Serve Robotics’ second deal with a pizza restaurant, following its first with pizza-making robot developer Piestro in July.
