NocoDB, a no-code data science automation platform, raised USD 10.5 million in seed funding led by Decibel and OSS Capital with participation from Uncorrelated Ventures and Together.Fund among others.
NocoDB offers an open-source no-code platform that transforms live data sources into functional spreadsheets to enable users to build workflows and automation. Users can connect to data from a number of third-party databases and warehouses such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, Microsoft SQL Server, Amazon Aurora, Snowflake, and OracleDB. The platform then enables users to leverage and transform that data to create business workflows that integrate with a number of third-party apps such as Slack, Microsoft Teams, Discord, Twilio, and WhatsApp.
Analyst Quicktake : NocoDB offers a similar solution to large, highly funded players in the space such as Airtable and Sigma Computing (which incidentally raised massive funding rounds of USD 735 million and USD 300 million respectively, last December). Although NocoDB competes with these highly funded companies it looks to distinguish itself by enabling users to transform live production data in databases or data warehouses into spreadsheets.
