Alcatraz AI, a facial recognition-based access control systems developer, announced new features to its facial authentication solution, The Rock.
The new additions include 1) web-based mobile enrollment streamlining the onboarding process by allowing new employees and visitors to register remotely using their mobile devices and 2) a privacy consent management process allowing users to offer an opt-in choice via mobile devices.
The two new additions will allow Alcatraz users to reduce the overall cost and complexity of the enrollment process and comply with privacy laws.
Analyst QuickTake: Alcatraz appears to be gradually improving its product, as it introduced several new features in December 2022, including the integration with SSO companies and profile expiration capability, ensuring only authorized individuals have access. The company also added a three-factor authentication capability to its Alcatraz Rock facial authentication platform to improve security in February last year.
