Skyflow, a data privacy startup, has launched “Skyflow GPT Privacy Vault,” a secure processing environment for large language models (LLMs) like OpenAI’s ChatGPT.
The company claims the solution will enable organizations to use sensitive data within LLMs while maintaining data privacy; offering a secure environment to prevent unauthorized access and data leakage, granular control over access to data and LLM functionalities, redaction and anonymization of sensitive data during processing, and tools for compliance with privacy regulations such as GDPR.
Analyst QuickTake : As generative AI adoption ramps up, Skyflow finds itself among several firms that are helping organizations to unlock the full potential of LLMs by allowing their use with sensitive data. Private AI launched “PrivateGPT,” a privacy layer for ChatGPT earlier in May, while another startup, Mithril Security , raised funding earlier this week to develop “Blindbox,” a solution allowing LLMs to be deployed in secure processing environments.
