Enapter partners with Wolong to provide AEM Electrolysers in China

  • Enapter, an Italian anion exchange membrane (AEM) electrolyzer producer, has signed a framework supply agreement of over EUR 6 million (~USD 6.6 million) with Wolong, a Chinese motor and drive manufacturer.

  • This agreement includes Enapter delivering five megawatt multicore systems to customers in China, as well as around 130 compact single-core electrolyzers (AEM Electrolyser EL 4.0) for test sites focusing on various application environments.

  • Analyst QuickTake : Enaptor unveiled its AEM Multicore, which is the world's first megawatt-scale AEM electrolyzer to produce green hydrogen, in May 2023 . The company intends to begin production of these at its campus in Saerbeck, Germany, in 2023. Additionally, Enaptor received an order for its AEM Multicore electrolyzer from Intelligent Energy Limited in June 2023 . Enapter also began mass production of its AEM Electrolyser EL 4.0 in March 2023 .
