Orca Security, a provider of an agentless cloud-based security and compliance platform, has expanded its partnership with Amazon Web Services (AWS) by integrating its product with Amazon's Bedrock-managed cloud service for AI application development.
The Bedrock integration will allow Orca to act as a security co-pilot for its customers, using AI to generate remediation codes and instructions and automatically resolve security issues in cloud environments. The company says this new capability will reduce organizations' mean time to resolution (MTTR) for cybersecurity incidents.
Analyst QuickTake: In September, Orca announced a GenAI search tool powered by Azure OpenAI GPT-4, building on an integration announced earlier this year. Industry players have been incorporating GenAI into their cybersecurity products and services throughout the year, including an AI assistant from BlackBerry in October , Google Cloud ’s large-scale Duet AI integration in early September, and security information and management tools from Tenable and Lookout in August .
