Nasdaq-listed detection and response firm CrowdStrike is reportedly looking at acquiring Israeli cloud data protection company Flow Security. Though not officially disclosed, sources place the acquisition value at ~USD 60 million–80 million.

Flow Security monitors corporate data at rest and as it flows across cloud services, external applications, and development environments, detecting leaks, abnormalities, and other vulnerabilities. Capabilities include monitoring of end users and user authorization and management tooling. The company has raised USD 15 million across two seed funding rounds.

Analyst QuickTake: If the deal goes through, Flow will be CrowdStrike’s second acquisition in the past year, following its USD 350 million acquisition of Bionic in September 2023 and its third acquisition of an Israeli cybersecurity firm, having acquired Reposify in 2022. Additionally, the move mirrors Palo Alto Networks ’ November 2023 announcement that it was acquiring data security posture management (DSPM) firm Dig Security for a reported USD 300 million–400 million.
