Revo Foods, an Austrian Food Tech startup, has introduced the Food Fabricator X2 (FFX2), a brand-new 3D food printer capable of industrial-scale food production.
The new 3D printer has a unique multi-nozzle system that allows continuous production, making mass production using 3D food printing feasible. Further, It employs a high-precision extrusion system that can mix different ingredients in any desired structure, facilitating the production of whole-cut meat alternatives and other products with custom shapes, structures, and textures.
Analyst QuickTake: Revo Foods aims to utilize FFX2’s production capabilities and new funds from its crowd-investing campaign to bolster the next level of production expansion. In 2023, Revo Foods launched a 3D-printed whole-cut salmon filet produced using the Food Fabricator X1 as proof of technology before scaling up to the X2 version.
