Revo Foods launch crowd-investing campaign to raise EUR 1.5 million

Funding

  • Austria-based Revo Foods, a company specializing in 3D-printed alternative meats, has launched a crowd-investing campaign to raise EUR 1.5 million (~USD 1.6 million). The campaign will be live till April 18, 2024, and marks the company's first public investment opportunity in the form of digital company shares.

  • The funds raised will be used to bolster the next level of production expansion, particularly by harnessing Revo Foods' recent 3D food printing technique, the Food Fabricator X2.

  • Analyst QuickTake: This is Revo Foods’ first funding round after its EUR 1.5 million (~USD 1.78 million) seed funding in 2021. The company also received a EUR 1.5 million (~USD 1.6 million) grant from Vinnova in 2023, followed by the launch of its 3D-printed whole-cut salmon filet into retail.
