Austria-based Revo Foods, a company specializing in 3D-printed alternative meats, has launched a crowd-investing campaign to raise EUR 1.5 million (~USD 1.6 million). The campaign will be live till April 18, 2024, and marks the company's first public investment opportunity in the form of digital company shares.
The funds raised will be used to bolster the next level of production expansion, particularly by harnessing Revo Foods' recent 3D food printing technique, the Food Fabricator X2.
Analyst QuickTake: This is Revo Foods’ first funding round after its EUR 1.5 million (~USD 1.78 million) seed funding in 2021. The company also received a EUR 1.5 million (~USD 1.6 million) grant from Vinnova in 2023, followed by the launch of its 3D-printed whole-cut salmon filet into retail.
