Kodiak partners with Martin Brower for autonomous freight delivery between Dallas and Oklahoma City

Partnerships

  • Kodiak Robotics has partnered with The Martin-Brower Company, a provider of supply chain solutions, to carry out autonomous refrigerated transport for quick-service restaurants between Dallas and Oklahoma City. The partnership aims to automate eight freight trips weekly.

  • The partnership started in July 2022 and has completed over 600 autonomous deliveries. Kodiak operates on a "shuttle lane," where autonomous trucks operate between major hubs with local drivers handling the distribution of goods to restaurants. The two companies plan to expand the partnership across the Martin Brower network.

  • Analyst QuickTake: Companies have recently been adopting autonomous trucks to deliver time-critical deliveries of refrigerated products. Kodiak’s competitors, such as Gatik, Daimler-owned Torc Robotics, and Aurora Innovation , have recently deployed refrigerated trucking services in partnership with grocery retailers and food manufacturers.
