TerraPay partners with Alfardan Exchange to enhance cross-border remittances in Qatar

  • UK-based TerraPay, a cross-border payment infrastructure provider, has partnered with UAE-based Alfardan Exchange, a digital banking platform, to enhance cross-border remittances in Qatar.

  • The collaboration between TerraPay and Alfardan Exchange is centered around enhancing cross-border remittances by integrating TerraPay's digital infrastructure and Alfardan's dominant regional presence. 

  • Analyst QuickTake: TerraPay has focused on growing its platform reach through partnerships with banks and financial institutions based in countries across the Middle East, Africa, and South America during the past six months. The company has partnered with Papara (October 2023), Nequi (October 2023), Orange Finances Money Mali (January 2024), and Diamond Trust Bank Uganda (last month) to expand global coverage in Turkey, Columbia, Mali, and Uganda, respectively.
