A2Z Smart Technologies deploys Cust2Mate 3.0 smart carts

  • Israeli technology solutions provider A2Z Smart Technologies Corp has announced that it has commenced fulfilling the orders for its latest generation of smart carts, Cust2Mate 3.0.

  • The first deployment of the smart cart is scheduled to commence in April at Israeli supermarket chain Yochananof, following which, the technology will be deployed at other retailers, including Morton Williams and Monoprix. 

  • Analyst Quick Take: A2Z’s launched its latest generation of smart carts in January 2024 . Notably, Yochananof is a longstanding customer who had used previous generations of A2Z smart carts. The retailer has ordered over 3,000 smart carts as of  May 2023 (an initial order for 1,000 smart carts in May 2022 followed by 300 in December 2022 and 1,700 in May 2023). Meanwhile, Morton Williams and Monoprix have also partnered with A2Z to launch smart carts in the past, ordering 100 (May 2023) and 250 (October 2023), respectively.
