Serve Robotics, a company offering droid-based delivery services, has partnered with DriveU.auto, a developer of a connectivity platform for self-driving vehicles, to enhance Serve's robot fleet with DriveU's platform.
Serve Robotics will use DriveU's platform to improve the remote monitoring of its robot workers, assisting in scaling the deployment of up to 2,000 delivery robots on Uber Eats.
The platform allows the robots to share real-time data and access cloud computing, enhancing remote supervision.
Analyst QuickTake: DriveU.auto has been a popular connectivity provider for autonomous droids, with peer startups including Segway Robotics (June 2022), Teraki (May 2022), and Coco Robotics (January 2022) partnering with the same for similar purposes.
