Serve Robotics partners with DriveU.auto to enhance connectivity of autonomous delivery droids

Partnerships

  • Serve Robotics, a company offering droid-based delivery services, has partnered with DriveU.auto, a developer of a connectivity platform for self-driving vehicles, to enhance Serve's robot fleet with DriveU's platform.

  • Serve Robotics will use DriveU's platform to improve the remote monitoring of its robot workers, assisting in scaling the deployment of up to 2,000 delivery robots on Uber Eats.

  • The platform allows the robots to share real-time data and access cloud computing, enhancing remote supervision.

  • Analyst QuickTake: DriveU.auto has been a popular connectivity provider for autonomous droids, with peer startups including Segway Robotics (June 2022), Teraki (May 2022), and Coco Robotics (January 2022) partnering with the same for similar purposes.
