Chunk Foods, a plant-based meat company specializing in whole-cut meat alternatives, has partnered with NYC restaurant chain Jajaja Mexicana to offer menu items featuring chunk steak at the chain's Lower East Side, West Village, Hudson Yards, and Williamsburg locations.
The chain will feature chunk steak in its Birria Tacos and Chimichangas, each priced at USD 22. Chunk Foods uses proprietary solid-state fermentation technology to combine plant ingredients and food-grade microorganisms to develop whole-cut meats like Chunk Steak.
