Automation Anywhere, a diversified process automation solutions provider, has expanded its partnerships with AWS and Microsoft to integrate Amazon Q, a GenAI assistant, and Microsoft Azure OpenAI service into its platform.
The integrations will enhance the capabilities of virtual AI agents created via the Automation Anywhere platform, enabling them to handle more complex tasks. Users can leverage Amazon Q to program agents to answer queries, provide summaries, generate content, and complete tasks based on enterprise data. Moreover, the integration of OpenAI will enable Automation Anywhere to power its platform with Azure AI Document Intelligence, enabling customers to process unstructured documents.
The company stated that the new integrations will be made available in Q2 2024, with the expanded model selection from Azure OpenAI Service released in Q3.
Analyst QuickTake: GenAI has become a prominent tech trend within the workflow automation space, with many leading players partnering with tech giants to integrate GenAI technology into their platforms. Automation Anywhere joins the likes PegaSystems , Appian , and UiPath , which have all entered partnerships with AWS, Microsoft, and Google Cloud across several instances within the last four months. This partnership also builds on the company’s existing multi-year Strategic Collaboration Agreement (SCA) with AWS, which it entered last December. The agreement enabled the company to introduce integrations with Amazon solutions like Bedrock and SageMaker and offer fully managed services for building and scaling GenAI applications and deploying machine-learning models.
