Appian, a workflow automation platform, has partnered with Amazon Web Services (AWS) to develop new GenAI-powered workflow automation solutions for its platform.

The partnership will enable Appian to combine its own in-built AI capabilities and data fabric with LLMs and machine-learning services offered by Amazon Bedrock and SageMaker. Appian users will be able to host LLMs while ensuring compliance and data security and create, train, and fine-tune proprietary AI models using their own data.

This includes 1) Nintex , which launched new GenAI-powered tools for its platform, 2) UiPath , which launched a series of new features including context grounding and proprietary LLMs, 2) Zapier , which launched a chatbot building tool , and 3) Pegasystems , which launched its own solution for users to generate application blueprints.
