A2Z partners with Franprix to deploy smart carts in Paris store

Partnerships

  • Israeli technology solutions provider A2Z Smart Technologies has partnered with French grocery chain Franprix to deploy A2Z's latest generation of Cust2Mate smart carts at a Franprix store in Paris.

  • The deployment is part of A2Z’s partnership with IR2S, an integrator of retail technologies, to deploy 30,000 smart carts across French retail locations by 2026.

  • Analyst QuickTake: A2Z launched its latest generation of smart carts, ”Cust2Mate 3.0,” in January 2024. The company initially deployed the technology in March 2024 in partnership with the Israeli supermarket chain Yochananof, and plans are in place for deployments at other retailers, including Morton Williams and Monoprix.
