Drone Express, the drone delivery arm of TELEGRID Technologies, has rebranded as DEXA, as applied for the Federal Aviation Administration's (FAA's) Part 135 certified Air Carrier certificate, which would allow it to conduct autonomous beyond visual line-of-sight (BVLOS) flight operations commercially across the US.
The rebrand marks a strategic shift from operating under Part 107 to becoming a federal unmanned aircraft systems operator, highlighting DEXA’s broader focus on autonomous aircraft and last-mile logistics.
Analyst QuickTake : Once received, Drone Express will join the handful of companies that have obtained the Part 135 certification in the US.
