Team Liquid announces multi-year partnership with Coinbase

Partnerships

 • Team Liquid, an esports team organization, announced a four-year partnership with cryptocurrency exchange Coinbase.

 • As part of the deal, Team Liquid’s store will incorporate crypto payments, and the two entities are expected to collaborate on content and develop technology to improve the fan experience. Coinbase’s logo will be featured on Team Liquid jerseys.

Analyst QuickTake : Team Liquid was the third most valuable esports team in 2020 behind Team SoloMid (TSM) and Cloud9. This tie-up follows a host of similar esports partnerships with cryptocurrency players, such as Astralis’ three-year partnership with Bybit, a 7-year deal for Riot Games along with TSM’s 10-year USD 210 million naming rights deal with FTX.
