• Zwipe, a company offering biometric payment card inlays, has partnered with Modularsoft (also known as Modular), a Malaysian full service smart card company, to offer biometric contactless payment cards through banks in Malaysia.

• Through this partnership, Zwipe and Modular will engage with issuers and enterprises across Malaysia to launch pilots and full commercial rollouts of biometric cards. In addition, Zwipe will provide Modular with implementation support, including a range of value-added services for issuers. 

<ul><li> Analyst QuickTake: Zwipe has been entering into several partnerships to deploy biometric payment cards across the globe. In the past two months alone, it partnered with Masria Digital Payment and Easy Pay (among others) to expand its offering in MENA and India, and, last month, its technology was endorsed by the Central Bank of Iran . Moreover, Moldularsoft joins Zwipe’s network of partners to offer biometric payment cards in Asia, which already includes ICPS, FSS, KL HI-Tech, and Silkways Card and Printing Ltd.</ul>
