Einride, a Swedish tech developer for autonomous and electric trucks, has partnered with shipping company Maersk to supply 300 Einride connected electric trucks dubbed “e-Trucks” to the latter, marking the largest order for electric heavy-duty trucks to date.
Einride aims to deliver the trucks over 2023–2025, while helping to electrify Maersk’s North American warehousing, distribution, and transportation business infrastructure in selected US cities. In addition to trucks, Maersk will get access to charging stations and charging services, which are offered via Einride’s operating system “Saga.”

Analyst QuickTake: Today’s partnership follows Maersk’s venture arm Maersk Growth’s investment in Einrides Series B round in May 2021. Furthermore, this marks Einride’s second partnership in the US market, after its first with GE Appliances to supply autonomous trucks last October.
