Heliogen, a concentrated solar startup, has partnered with Woodside Energy, a wholly-owned subsidiary of the leading Australian energy producer Woodside Petroleum, to deploy a concentrated solar demonstration facility in California.
<ul><li>This agreement followed the previously announced Limited Notice To Proceed (LNTP) granted by Woodside. Under the agreement, Heliogen will undertake engineering, sourcing, and construction of the five-megawatt demonstration facility.</ul>
<ul><li>The project will be funded from Heliogen’s previously announced USD 39 million award granted by the US Department of Energy (DOE).</ul>
In addition, Heliogen and Woodside Energy have collaborated to market Heliogen’s technology jointly in the US and Australia.
