Neat (formerly Neat Burger) is a London-based plant-based fast-food chain that serves plant-based burgers (Better Burgers), artisan ciabatta rolls, snacks, and superfood salads. In April 2022, the startup expanded operations to the US, with Leonardo DiCaprio, a well-known actor and environmental campaigner, joining the company as a strategic investor. Later, in November 2023, the company opened its first Italian location, bringing its total store count to 6. The company underwent a rebranding in February 2024 and was renamed Neat. It also involved an updated look, a switch to more interactive customer service, and healthier menu items in response to client feedback.
Key customers and partnerships
In September 2023, the company partnered with TiNDLE Foods ( to offer the TiNDLE Breakfast Sausage and JUST Egg breakfast sandwich), and Chunk Foods (to introduce the Chunk Steak Sandwich) at Neat's Nolita location in Manhattan. Later, in October 2023, the company collaborated with OmniFoods (plant-based brand of Green Monday Holdings) to launch new seafood menu options at its NYC outlet.
In August 2024, the company partnered with Oshi to feature Oshi’s plant-based salmon filets in vegan fish tacos, rice bowls, and Caesar salads with avocado.
