Oshi (formerly Plantish), a plant-based salmon producer, partnered with Neat, a vegan burger chain, to introduce its salmon product in Neat's New York City Nolita location.
Oshi's plant-based salmon will be featured in Neat's vegan fish tacos, rice bowls, and Caesar salads with avocado. This partnership expands Oshi's presence in NYC restaurants, making sustainable dining options more accessible. Additionally, Oshi has relocated its production from Israel to California to better serve the US market.
Analyst QuickTake: This partnership marks Oshi’s second collaboration with a NYC restaurant, following its partnership with Coletta Restaurant in October 2023. After teaming up with chefs and restaurants to optimize its offerings before entering the US, the company launched the latest version of its salmon filet at the NRA show in Chicago and signed distribution agreements with Webstaurant, Earthly Gourmet, and Ace Natural for restaurant distribution in the US.
