Founded in 2009, ELB Learning (rebranded from eLearning Brothers in May 2022) provides a suite of tools, content, and development and hosting services for corporate learning. The company's product and service suite includes Lectora, an authoring tool; CenarioVR, a virtual reality course builder; AssetLibrary, which contains games, interactions, templates, scenarios, navigation players, and characters; The Rockstar Learning Platform, an integrated platform that offers learning management system (LMS) and learning experience platform (LXP) features; and the Strategic Learning Blueprint, a consulting service. As of November 2020, the company served 94 Fortune 500 companies.
The company launched The Rockstar Learning Platform in January 2021. Platform features include virtual onboarding and employee training, customer and partner training, self-directed learning, upskilling, reskilling, cross-training, and virtual instructor-led training. In October 2021, the company introduced a consulting service, the Strategic Learning Blueprint, which assesses a business’s existing training, designs a custom learning plan, and launches a modern learning strategy.
The company has also expanded its portfolio through acquisitions. In April 2020, ELB Learning acquired its longtime partner Trivantis, creator of the Lectora authoring tool and the CenarioVR virtual reality course builder. Trivantis' other products such as ReviewLink for reviewing and approving content, and the CourseMill LMS will also be integrated. ELB Learning also acquired Edulance, developer of the KnowledgeLink LMS and its partner since 2019. In March 2021, The company acquired The Game Agency, the creator of The Training Arcade, a DIY game-authoring tool, to offer game-based learning on its platform. In January 2022, the company acquired Rehearsal, a video-based training and coaching platform, and Chennai-based Origin Learning, a learning design and technology company, to broaden its product suite, strengthen its product development capabilities, and allow it to expand into new markets. Its most recent acquisition was in April 2022, when it acquired learning solutions provider CoreAxis .
Key customers and partnerships
ELB Learning teamed up with Traliant, a compliance training company, in July 2021, to include all Traliant training courses in compliance and diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) into its LMS.
Funding and financials
In February 2022, the company raised USD 54 million in a funding round led by RLG Capital and Trinity Investors, allowing the company to acquire Rehearsal and Origin Learning and to restructure its debt.
