Flash

Flash (also known as Flash Parking and formerly known as Klever Logic) is a smart parking startup that provides several software and hardware solutions for parking managers and operators. FlashOS is a cloud-based parking management solution that provides contactless access and payment controls that leverage smartphone Bluetooth as well as a parking intelligence dashboard providing real-time insights. Flash also offers Flash Valet, a mobile management system for valet parking operators. In June 2022, the firm expanded its solutions portfolio to include event parking with the acquisition of Ballparc , a developer of event parking and parking enforcement management solutions.

In addition to its software solutions, Flash provides a number of parking hardware solutions including kiosks, gates, and cash machines on a subscription basis.

In January 2021, Flash merged with Arrive, an enterprise-level parking services firm providing solutions for both B2B and B2C users, creating what the firm claims to be the first smart parking app, providing end-to-end parking solutions for both users and parking providers. The firms were to continue to operate as dual businesses while exploring ways to integrate their operations.

Key customers and partnerships

Flash’s solutions support a variety of park and go mobile apps including Spot Hero, Park Mobile, Way, and SpotAngels. As of July 2022, Flash’s services are available in 15,000+ locations in major cities in the US and Canada. As of January 2022, Flash Valet was available in 13 cities in the US across a variety of 50 locations, including hotels, casinos, condos, airports, and arenas.

A competitive edge of Flash is its wide partner ecosystem that can be integrated with its products, including eScooters (Bird), digital signage, eParking reservation systems, and electric vehicle (EV) charging points. The firm claims its integrations allow parking operators to further diversify their revenue streams and improve customer loyalty.

Flash has also formed several strategic partnerships to enhance its services and expand its reach. In 2022, it partnered with smart building tech provider Cohesion to offer “eParking reservation” for tenants and guests. In 2023, Flash collaborated with Get My Parking to provide digital parking solutions and with One Parking to offer EV charging solutions. In 2024, the company partnered with Waze to enable parking reservations through the Waze app and with ParkMobile to modernize parking infrastructure and improve the driver experience across North America.
