Founded in Israel, AppsFlyer specializes in mobile app attribution analytics. The platform has a number of features for identifying and attributing customer activity across multiple touchpoints including mobile, tablet, TV, and web. It also has a suite of analytical tools to measure the impact of marketing campaigns on app activity. In addition, AppsFlyer also has a customer experience platform to create personalized customer journeys and marketing analytics tools for real-time performance measurement. By October 2021, more than 12,000 brands were using AppsFlyer’s platform including Domino’s, Nike, eBay, HBO, and Pizzahut.

In June 2022, Appsflyer launched a data clean room for app developers to collaborate with marketers in a privacy-preserving manner. In March 2023, the company launched ROI360, an end-to-end revenue intelligence platform, to optimize marketing campaigns. In May 2023, the firm unveiled new solutions to support ChatGPT plugins, focusing on enhancing measurement, analytics, and privacy. During the same month, Appsflyer unveiled a PC and console measurement solution for game firms. In January 2024, Appsflyer unveiled Creative Optimization, which provides critical insights into marketing creative assets and guidance on how to improve their impact.

AppsFlyer claims to have an independent, unbiased, and privacy-first approach that provides an edge over its peers. This is reflected in the wide client portfolio as well as a large number of technology partners (9,000 by October 2021).

In November 2023, the firm acquired Devtodev, an analytics company primarily serving app and game developers, to enhance clean room data collaboration marketplace. In December 2023, AppsFlyer acquired oolo, a provider of AI-powered decision-making tools, to increase the efficiency of its decision-making tools for businesses.

Funding and financials

AppsFlyer has concluded six rounds of funding. The most recent was a venture round in November 2020 through which the firm raised an undisclosed amount from Salesforce Ventures and was valued at USD 2 billion. The purpose of the fundraising was to drive product innovation in the face of new developments in consumer privacy policies and increase its global employee headcount in 2021.

By January 2020, the firm has reported having exceeded USD 200 million in annual recurring revenue (ARR).
