Tines, a cybersecurity focused workflow automation platform, has introduced two native AI features known as Automatic Mode and AI Action to enhance its existing workflow automation services.
Automatic Mode will enable users to perform data transformation and manipulation tasks without requiring any coding skills, whereas AI Action will enable users to integrate LLMs into their workflows.
Analyst Quick Take: With this release, Tines joins a long list of disruptors that have made investments in GenAI for their workflow automation platforms in the last few months. This includes Nintex , Zendesk , Appian , UiPath , and Zapier , all of which either launched new products, entered partnerships, or made acquisitions within the space. Notably, Tines differs from many of these players in that it is a cybersecurity-focused platform. It also is not entirely new to LLM technology, as it already offers a solution for users to run an LLM within the context of their workflow to automate tasks such as summarization and code generation. Notably, this news comes just over a month after Tines raised USD 50 million in a Series B funding extension with the intention to enhance its functionalities for collaborative workflows.
