Oatly partners with Malibu to launch 'Piña Oatlada'

Partnerships

  • Oatly, a Swedish dairy alternative producer, and Malibu, a rum brand, have collaborated to launch dairy-free "Piña Oatlada," a piña colada-flavored soft-serve with a touch of alcohol.

  • To introduce the Piña Oatlada, the brands are opening a temporary clubhouse in London's Shoreditch, offering free soft-serve, cocktails, and hosting events. Piña Oatlada will also be available at select bars in the UK, festivals like All Points East in London, Superbloom in Munich, and Way Out West in Gothenburg, catering to customers of legal drinking age.

  • Analyst QuickTake: Oatly reported a strong start to the year, with a 1.8% YoY increase in Q1 2024 revenue, reaching USD 199.2 million. This was driven by its growth in US and European markets, which is likely the result of its steady lineup of new launches ( Oatly Super Basic , Oatmilk Creamer , Oatgurt ) and partnerships ( Carvel , TOUS les JOURS ).
