Pony.ai, a China- and US-based self-driving vehicle technology company, and global multimodal transport operator ComfortDelGro signed an MoU to accelerate large-scale commercial robotaxi deployment.

ComfortDelGro will contribute its extensive experience in fleet management, with a global taxi fleet exceeding 29,000 vehicles. 

The partnership aims to create safe and sustainable robotaxi solutions, preparing for further global market expansion and showcasing a new cooperative model for large-scale autonomous vehicle deployment.

Analyst QuickTake: We believe this collaboration will help Pony.ai in its ongoing globalization efforts in countries like South Korea, Luxembourg, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE, in addition to China, where it already has an established presence in cities including Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, and Shenzhen.
