Meatable secures EUR 7.6 million in innovation credit from Netherlands Enterprise Agency

Funding

  • Dutch cultivated meat company Meatable secured EUR 7.6 million (~USD 8.5 million) in funding under the Innovation Credit program from the Netherlands Enterprise Agency.

  • The funding, in the form of milestone-linked credit payments, will improve productivity and reduce costs as Meatable prepares for commercialization.

  • Analyst QuickTake: Meatable has raised approximately USD 105 million to date, including a USD 30 million Series B round in August 2023. The company recently hosted Europe's first public tasting of its cultivated meat products and has achieved a 50% reduction in production times for its pork sausage from eight to four days.
