• Cartken, an autonomous delivery droid manufacturer, has entered into a three-way partnership with AC Hotel Miami Dadeland in South Miami and online food ordering app FanFood to offer droid-based food delivery to hotel guests.

• The guests can place orders via FanFood’s websites, to be delivered from participating restaurants with the Dadeland Mall, a nearby shopping complex. The dorids will deliver the food to the hotel lobby for pickup.

<ul><li> Analyst QuickTake: Cartken already has operations in Miami in partnership with REEF Technology, an operator of parking facilities and neighborhood hubs, delivering orders from REEF’s network of delivery-only kitchens to customers. Its peer company Kiwibot also conducts droid-based deliveries in Miami. Furthermore, Cartken is not the only droid operator to have partnered with hotels for droid-based deliveries. Its peer Coco Robotics partnered with Bayside Hotel, Southern California in April 2021 to provide an on-demand delivery service to its guests.</ul>
