Alpha Esports Tech Inc. (Alpha) is a Canadian esports infrastructure company that facilitates online tournaments, content broadcasts, esports events, and player development. The company offers a monthly subscription service, GamerzArena+, priced at USD 12.99, which provides access to tournaments, contests, and development leagues. In May 2021, Alpha began trading on the Canadian Securities Exchange.

Alpha operates an amateur esports program, GamerzYouth, and entered the Minecraft esports space in July 2021. Partnering with identity verification provider Gamersafer, Alpha launched a recreational Minecraft league for youth esports, focusing on contests, education, and live events. In August 2021, Alpha launched GamerzArcade, a mobile gaming platform offering daily, weekly, and monthly contests in casual games like solitaire, chess, and sudoku. 

Alpha’s acquisitions include Montreal-based esports companies HypeX Inc. and eDoxa (announced in December 2020). HypeX’s content ecosystem supports user growth, while eDoxa’s fraud detection and match scoring technology enhance GamerzArena.

Key customers and partnerships

Alpha expanded its mobile gaming offerings through a MarketJS partnership and entered Asia-Pacific, Southeast Asia, and Brazil in 2021 via esports partnerships. GamerzArena powered tournaments and became the exclusive platform for Mais Esports' events in Brazil. Alpha also partnered with EEG Labs to develop a computer vision scoring system for GamerzArena.
