Cedara is a decarbonization management company providing a modular software platform for businesses to measure and offset the carbon activity of media companies and their supply chains.
Through the platform, the company measures CO2 emissions of vendors and publishers using the Investment Hub, a collaborative platform for supply chain emissions measurement, and incorporates Cedara Factors, an automated emissions calculator, to set up specific sustainability strategies. Cedara’s Media Taxonomy is an application to segregate carbon data according to energy usage, publisher spending, and mix of media vendors and campaign delivery. The company also builds automated portfolios to purchase a basket of carbon offsets tailored to the client’s offset strategy. In October 2023, Cedara launched a Reduction Marketplace to offer third-party solutions for companies to reduce their supply chain emissions.
