Based in Ireland and operating in 200+ cities in 49 countries via global subsidiaries, the company generated USD 64.1 billion in revenue in FY2023. Accenture also had 8,300+ pending and received patents worldwide as of August 2022. It was named the Brand Finance most valuable IT services brand in 2023 for the fifth consecutive year, and ranked number 220 on the Fortune Global 500 list. Accenture was also ranked as the leading company in the Refinitiv Index of the world’s most diverse and inclusive companies, for the sixth consecutive year.

Accenture offers its services across several business units: strategy and consulting (enterprise re-invention), technology (facilitates the early adoption of technologies), intelligent operations (operates business processes on behalf of clients), industry X (assists organizations with digitizing engineering and manufacturing), and Song (helps clients to harness the ongoing technology revolution). Based on the type of activity, Consulting operations accounted for 52% of revenue in 2023, with Managed Services (formerly known as Outsourcing) accounting for the remainder.

The US represents Accenture’s largest market, contributing ~45% of total revenue (2021–2023). Europe was the second-largest with a contribution of ~33% to revenue (2021–2023). To drive future growth, the company planned to deliver value to its clients along five main focus areas: total enterprise reinvention, talent, sustainability, the metaverse continuum, and the ongoing technology revolution.
