Deloitte is an auditing and business consulting firm that ranks as the largest of the “Big Four” global accounting firms in terms of revenue. The company reported revenue of USD 64.9 billion in FY2023 (ended May). It operates as a global network of related member firms and has presence in more than 150 countries. In 2022, the company was ranked the most valuable and strongest commercial services brand in the world, by Brand Finance, for the fourth year running. 

Deloitte operates across five broad reporting segments: Consulting, Audit and Assurance, Tax and Legal, Risk Advisory, and Financial Advisory. The company is best known for its consultancy and audit services, with the two segments accounting for over 65% of the company revenue. Deloitte also assists enterprise customers in adopting emerging technologies. For instance, Deloitte launched AI institutes across the globe in mid- to late-2020 to facilitate and improve AI adoption. Moreover, in August 2023, Deloitte extended its strategic partnership with NVIDIA to harness AI technology and expertise in creating advanced GenAI solutions for enterprise software platforms.

In FY2023, the US contributed ~50% of Deloitte’s total revenue and constituted the company’s largest market, followed by EMEA (~29%) and Asia Pacific (~15%). Deloitte remains committed to improving the sustainability of its own operations and that of its suppliers and customers. The company plans to achieve net zero emissions in the future and has several goals for 2030 centered on increasing the usage of renewable energy sources, reducing scope one, two, and three emissions, and transitioning fleets to EVs. Deloitte has also invested and partnered with several companies to develop solutions for enterprises to reduce their climate impacts. This includes forming a strategic partnership with carbon footprint measurement SaaS platform Persefoni (in November 2022). In 2023, Deloitte launched Deloitte’s GreenLight Solution and GreenSpace Tech to further tackle climate change.
