Behavioral AI and NLP are key elements in the fight against email attacks
While traditional cybersecurity solutions are capable of detecting suspicious links and malicious email attachments, they often fall short of protecting against more complex threats such as business email compromise (BEC).

However, a complex attack can always slip through the cracks.
Behavioral analysis and risk scoring use AI and natural language processing (NLP) to analyze historical and real-time email content in order to learn user behavior across an organization. The AI uses this, along with other data points, to create a baseline for good behavior and assign a risk score to the individual, with a high score indicating a greater risk of potential email threats. Solutions using behavioral analysis and risk scoring can proactively identify emails that deviate from the established baseline in the context of the sender and the receiver. This allows the detection of sophisticated and previously unknown email attacks.
