Amazon partnered with Star Concessions Ltd, an operator of airport concession stores, to launch a checkout-free concessions store powered by Amazon’s Just Walk Out technology at the Dallas Fort Worth International Airport.
The store, named “Grab & Fly,” allows customers to insert their credit card at the entry gate, pick up their shopping items, and exit the store for automated checkout. The store offers a range of snacks, accessories, electronics, drinks, and souvenirs.
Star Concessions Ltd is headquartered in Dallas and currently operates over 45 food, beverage, and retail establishments in DFW International Airport, Dallas Love Field, and Houston's George Bush Intercontinental Airport.
