Amazon launches Amazon One and Just Walk Out-powered checkout-free store at Ameristar Casino Resort Spa

Partnerships

  • Amazon has partnered with Ameristar Casino Resort Spa at St. Charles, Missouri, to launch a checkout-free store powered by Amazon One and Just Walk Out technologies. The store will be a roughly 400 sq ft store named Roll In & Out, located near the main casino entrance.

  • Analyst QuickTake : Despite Amazon’s strategic decision to slow down the expansion of the company’s own Just Walk Out and Amazon One-powered brick-and-mortar stores, the company has continued to roll out its automated store technology at various high-traffic third-party locations, including sports stadiums , entertainment venues , and educational institutions . Amazon also recently launched a new Just Walk Out format powered by RFID aimed at clothing retailers
