Partnerships

  • The service will incorporate Via's technology to streamline existing services, enhancing scheduling efficiency and communication with riders through automated reminders.

  • ViaLC will operate on weekdays, providing options for those who need wheelchairs and/or those who do not have smartphone access . The service will employ Via’s intelligent routing algorithms to combine rides for passengers headed in similar directions and designate efficient pickup points, extending reach in less accessible areas.

  • Analyst QuickTake: Via has a history of collaborating to improve transit services, previously partnering with public transport companies and city authorities like the City of Gastonia, Trinity Metro in Tarrant County, Texas; Charlottesville Area Transit in Albemarle County, Virginia; and Din Tur in Sweden.
