CropX develops a crop management platform that collects data using soil sensors and aerial imagery; the data is then analyzed to offer farmers precise predictions on information such as soil and weather conditions. CropX also launched a new feature in August 2022 for its farm management system that tracks movement of nitrogen and salts in the soil. Through this feature, farmers can reduce the environmental impact of nitrogen leaching by identifying and managing it when it happens. As of October 2020, the company reported serving more than 1,200 farming customers worldwide and having deployed almost 9,000 sensors. CropX has completed a string of acquisitions to expand its product offering and market presence. It acquired Nebraska-based cloud-based precision irrigation tool provider CropMetrics to expand its presence in the US (January 2020); New Zealand Cloud-based precision irrigation provider Regen to expand into New Zealand’s farm market (September 2020); and Dacom Farm Intelligence, a Dutch crop management platform, to gain access to the European market ( <a href="https://sp-edge.com/updates/4866">August 2021 </a>).  Israeli startup Taranis, focuses on providing a complete digital agronomy solution to farmers using aerial imagery technology across the US, Argentina, Brazil, Russia, Ukraine, and Australia. The company now monitors more than 20 million acres globally, 50% of which is located within the US. The company is also looking towards expanding into Asia. The startup captures aerial images using UAVs, which can be analyzed and compared using its own platform, and allows farmers to make precise decisions about planting. The company also operates an area called the “AgroBrain”, which allows precise identification of crop issues. 
 
 
 The company claims to account for 70% of the global crop market and equips farmers with the tools to address issues in real time. Similar to peers like Ceres Imaging, Taranis has partnered with incumbent players like John Deere, Syngenta, BASF, and Climate Field View to expand its product reach. As such, Taranis is regarded as a promising startup in global precision agriculture. Taranis further strengthened its aerial imagery offering by extending its partnership with DroneNerds (the largest distributor of enterprise drone solutions) and DJI (the Chinese multinational commercial UAV manufacturer)

 In 2018, the company expanded its footprint in the US when it acquired Mavrx, a US startup providing aerial imagery solutions to local farmers. Israel-based H2Pro provides renewable energy solutions, specializing in Electrochemical-Thermally Activated Chemical (E-TAC) technology, which it claims is a highly-efficient water electrolysis method for green hydrogen production. H2Pro claims that its technology is 95% efficient, meaning that it loses only about 5% of the electrical energy that goes into it, as opposed to around 30% in current electrolysis methods.The company has been conducting laboratory prototyping, producing about 100 grams of green hydrogen per day as of December 2020. In March 2022, H2Pro began construction of its first factory in Tziporit, Israel, with a capacity to produce 600 MW of green hydrogen per year, and plans to begin operations in 2024. Renters can access a wide range of vehicles including trucks, vans, minivans, and SUVs, in over 9,500 (June 2022) cities across the US, Canada, and the UK.&nbsp;
 
 
 Turo generates revenue through commissions charged based on the total trip price, varying from 2.5-100%, a flat fee of USD 15 and value-added services fees for additional services, such as protection.
