Zipline, a drone-based delivery services provider, has partnered with the hospital service Mayo Clinic for drone-based medications and supplies deliveries for the latter's customers from Mayo Clinic's campuses in Jacksonville (Florida) and Rochester (Minnesota).
The companies will use Zipline’s latest P2 drone delivery system for the service.
According to Zipline, its P2 system is now set to be used in 11 states and serve more than 30 million people in the US over the coming years.

The company unveiled its latest P2 drone-based delivery system in March 2023 and has so far partnered with companies including WellSpan Health, Cleveland Clinic, Mendocino Farms, OhioHealth, GNC, Pagliacci, Associated Couriers, Sweetgreen, Michigan Medicine, MultiCare Health Systems, Intermountain Health, Flynn Group-owned Panera Bread, Memorial Hermann Health System, and Jet’s Pizza to deploy the system.
