A digital human is a lifelike virtual representation of a real or imaginary person that exhibits realistic human movements, behaviors, and interactions, aiming to establish an emotional connection with humans through verbal and nonverbal communication.
Digital humans encompass two types: Interactive and non-interactive. Interactive digital humans engage with users in real time, processing data and responding based on predefined algorithms and user interactions. These technologies often incorporate advanced natural language processing (NLP), AI, and machine learning (ML) algorithms to simulate human-like interactions.
Meanwhile, non-interactive digital humans lack user interaction capabilities and are often used in scripted roles, such as movies or games or to disseminate scripted information to audiences.
Digital humans find applications across various domains, including customer service and virtual assistance applications, employee training and education, media, gaming, entertainment, fashion, and beyond.
